Policy for Alumni
Use of the Library
Alumni are welcome to visit the library. Staff will provide assistance in locating materials both in print and electronic format. Alumni may use library materials within the library, or print or photocopy them using the library's self-service printers and copiers. There is a fee for printing and copying.
Borrowing Books
As a UR alum, you may bring your alumni ID to the circulation desk in either Rush Rhees or Carlson library.
Remote Access to Electronic Resources
Alumni may access the libraries' electronic resources while visiting the library. They may access the free sites in the Alumni Resource Centers on these web pages. However, alumni not currently employed by the University are not eligible for an account that allows remote access to licensed electronic resources.
