Library Services: Circulation Policies

 

  • All students, faculty, and staff with a current UR ID are eligible to borrow materials.
  • Reserve books must be requested at the Art and Music Library Circulation Desk and can be borrowed for two hours.
  • Some reserves may be taken out overnight within one hour of closing and are due the next day within one hour of opening. All music materials are limited to use in the Art and Music Library.
  • A book may be recalled from any borrower after two weeks.
  • Reference books, locked cage books, and folios do NOT circulate.

Suspension of Privileges

Borrowing privilege at all UR River Campus Libraries will be automatically suspended when:

 

  • Fines accrue to $15.00
  • An item is 30 days overdue
  • A reserve item is 3 days overdue
  • A recalled item is overdue

 

Unpaid bills will be reported to the Bursar or other appropriate authority.
