The Multimedia Center broadcasts foreign language programming on channels 5, 14 and 19 of ResTV, the University's cable TV provider.
COMPUTER SOFTWARE and other MEDIA
The MMC has computer stations with built-in multilingual computing capability available for use with the Internet, language software, and for scanning and publishing documents in languages other than English. Multilingual system software for Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, and Cyrillic, can be used to create, edit and print files that contain Romanic and non-Romanic language characters. In addition there are shareware programs and other materials available for the languages taught at the University of Rochester.
