Multilingual Word Processing

• The Multimedia Center has Microsoft Word with the Global Office software for Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Hebrew, Arabic and Cyrillic Russian for word processing in different languages.

Music Composition Software

• Room C has Sibelius music composition software and a scanner for scanning musical scores.
• Room E has Finale music composition software.

Software for the Blind and Visually Impaired

• The ADA workstation in the MMC has the following software preinstalled:
• Jaws 4.0: screen reading software; good for surfing the web or using with Microsoft Word.
• Kurzweil with color scanning capability.
• Zoomtext Extra: screen magnification software.
• Duxbury Braille Translator: used with the Braille embosser in Room E to produce Braille documents from Word, Wordperfect, or Text documents.
