Carlson Library celebrating two anniversaries (25th and 40th) in 2012!

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary and the 40th Anniversary of The Chester F. Carlson Science & Engineering Library, Library staff created displays and timelines that will bring back memories for some and share some history for others. The exhibits will be available for viewing during the month of October.

The first Carlson Library opened in 1972 in Hutchison Hall serving Chemistry, Biology, and the Mathematical Sciences. In 1987, the original Carlson Library merged with the Engineering Library in, what was then, the new Computer Studies Building. The 1st Floor renovation has recently provided more study spaces and computer work stations.
