Evelyne Leblanc-Roberge is an Assistant Professor of Art and Art History. Her Entrances is an installation piece that explores the multiple tangible and philosophical functions of a passageway. It consists of composite images of six impossibly strange rooms. Once adhered on the surface of the walls, imaginary extensions are added to the library entrance, triggering a shift in the viewers' perception of these spaces. These rooms are digitally built with photographs of architectural elements of various institutional spaces and settings. Subtle details and clues evoke traces of a past activity, or perhaps a small catastrophe.
