Use Articles & Books to search much of the library's content in a single search. Search settings can be changed on the results page.
Articles / Databases
These databases focus on specific areas of interest to Public Health
See Databases for a complete list of library databases. The Browse by Subject section has more database recommendations for Public Health, as well as recommendations for Anthropology, Psychology, Biology and other disciplines.
To see recent additions to the library's collections, check out the New Titles page.
All journals are listed in the UR Catalog, Search by journal title.
To find only the library journals that are online, search/browse using the eJournals page.
Literature review articles provide an overview to an area of research, identify who is working in that area, and cite relevant published work.
Library Locations & Maps
These University of Rochester Libraries house materials useful for research in Public Health.
If you have a citation (journal title, year, volume, issue, etc.) to an article, Citation Linker will check to see if the library has it online. Enter as much of the citation as you have. If nothing is found, try again after removing page numbers and dates.
Even easier, try searching the article title and author last name using the Articles & Books tab.
Managing What You Find
To keep up with references and appropriately cite them in papers and bibliographies, consider any of these tools. Each will copy article, book and other citations from databases into a single location that you can manage. Style options include CSE, APA, MLA, Chicago and many others.
