
Rush Rhees Library
Designed to serve as a centerpiece of the River Campus when it was dedicated in 1930, Rush Rhees Library is now home to the Art and Music Library, the Barbara J. Burger iZone, the Janis and James S. Gleason Library, the Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation, and the Rossell Hope Robbins Library and Koller-Collins Center for English Studies, and the University Archives.

Carlson Science & Engineering Library
Carlson Library provides collections specific to biology, biomedical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, computer science, earth and environmental sciences, electrical and computer engineering, mathematical sciences, and mechanical engineering. It is also home to the VISTA Collaboratory, a state-of-the-art data visualization lab on the library’s first floor.

Physics, Optics & Astronomy
The Physics-Optics-Astronomy Library (POA) supports the instructional and research needs of students and faculty in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Institute of Optics. While it is open to the public every day and most evenings during the academic year, declared departmental majors, graduate students, and the faculty enjoy 24/7 access.
