Metadata Outreach relies on the rich experience and expertise held by RCL’s Metadata Services staff, particularly in information organization, metadata schema, and controlled vocabularies, to support teaching, learning, and research.

Metadata Outreach is for everyone at the University of Rochester. By exploring your metadata needs and challenges, we can help University staff improve their business processes and better understand how their work relates to data governance efforts. We can help students manage, describe, and understand their research data and outputs. We can support faculty teaching and research across all disciplines.
