encourages the use of open platforms and open scholarship practices
promotes the institutional repository, University of Rochester Research Repository (URRR)
assists the university community in their understanding of author's rights and open licenses
provides campus leadership regarding issues related to scholarly publishing, with an emphasis on open access book publishing
liaises with UR Press and other UR-based publications, providing support for their operations
maintains awareness of national and international publishing trends that increase the impact of knowledge generated by the UR community
