Join other SHARP attendees at the University of Rochester’s Memorial Art Gallery (MAG) for an evening of art and community. Galleries will be open to attendees.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks (cash bar)
Buses will be available to take attendees from Rush Rhees Library to MAG at 5:20, 6:00, and 6:20 pm. As MAG is close to downtown restaurants and conference hotels, shuttles will not be returning to campus after the reception.

RIT Cary Graphic Arts Collection, Wallace Library, 2nd Floor
Join us for a reception hosted by the Rochester Institute of Technology at the Cary Graphic Arts Collection. While enjoying refreshments and conversation, guests are invited to explore Night Circus, the Guild of Book Workers’ 2024–25 juried exhibition. Featuring 31 works by Guild members, this exhibition showcases imaginative interpretations of spectacle, mystery, and performance through designer bindings and fine press books. RIT is proud to be one of only five national venues to host this traveling exhibition.

Printing on the Kelmscott/Goudy Press

Join the curators of RIT’s Cary Graphic Arts Collection for a printing experience on the Kelmscott/Goudy Press (Albion 6551), the printing press owned by both William Morris and Frederic Goudy. Print a keepsake on the fabled press and then print a leaf from the Kelmscott Chaucer on a 3D model of the press in virtual reality.
